In the U.S., more than 38 million people–or 1 in 8 people–face hunger, including nearly 12 million children. Hunger knows no boundaries, and it impacts people in our communities.
Which is why Walmart and Sam’s Club are coming together with their supplier partners, customers, members, associates and Feeding America® member food banks for the 9th annual Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign to help fight hunger in communities nationwide.

The Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign will run in stores/clubs and online from April 18 – May 15, 2022. There are three easy ways for customers and members to participate to support their local food bank:
• Donate at check-out in stores and clubs or round up at Walmart.com
• Donate online at www.FeedingAmerica.org/Walmart or www.FeedingAmerica.org/SamsClub
• For every participating product purchased in-store or online at Walmart.com or SamsClub.com, the supplier will donate the monetary equivalent of at least one meal* ($0.10) on behalf of a Feeding America member food bank at Walmart and five meals ($0.50) at Sam’s Club, up to applicable limits. To date, the campaign has helped to secure more than 1.5 billion meals for local food banks across the country. Fighting hunger means more than providing food to our neighbors in need. It’s about showing up in communities to support our neighbors in a way that makes a difference.
*Currently, $1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local member food banks.
